The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018. It is designed to give individuals more rights when it comes to how their information is gathered, stored and used. It builds on previous Data Protection legislation to ensure that all organisations are acting transparently and fairly when it comes to personal information.
There are also two Privacy Notices available. If you are not a “Role Holder” (eg Church Wardens, PCC Members, Treasurers, Volunteers, Church employed staff, etc.) then you only need to download the General Privacy Notice, otherwise, as a Role Holder you need to download both the General Privacy Notice and the Role Holder Privacy Notice.
Download a copy of our General Privacy Notice (392 Kb).
Download a copy of our Role Holders Privacy Notice (399 Kb).
